Amelkis, a relatively new course to Marrakech, is set in a picturesque landscape of palm trees, olive trees and pampas grass, located next to the Marrakech Royal Golf Club, with wonderful views of the snow-covered Atlas Mountains. Designed by Cabbel Robinson, it is a challenging American style par 72 course and approximately 7250 yards long.

This course is testing for any golfer, with a number of water features and bunkers set beautifully amongst palm groves and Moroccan architecture.

The course has integrated the Khettarus, an 11th century irrigation works built by the Almoravides. The greens are deceptively large and protected by lakes, fountains, tropical rough and unique large bunkers created from crushed rock.
